We publish the evaluations that went against us
We run evaluations before we ship and we publish the ones that went against us. The strategy documents that steer this company carry a section listing what is verified, what is inferred and what is still unknown.
- Range
Everyone here reads outside their field
The whole product is an argument that the answer is usually in a literature you do not read. Working on it while only reading your own is a contradiction. We hire for the second field as much as the first.
- Ownership
You will not be handed a spec
The team is small enough that whoever notices the problem generally owns it end to end, including the part where it goes to production and the part where it breaks.
